Guests can hop on the metro at Termini and ride the
short two stops to the Colosseo.

In doing so you will pass the Basilica of
Santa Maria Maggiore one of the four papal
basilicas and one of the largest churches in Rome,
dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Many of the other ancient monuments of Rome are all
easily reached from the Hotel Castelfidardo,
most notably: the Pantheon, the Roman
Forum, Castel Sant’Angelo,
the Ara Pacis and the Bocca della Verità.
Second only to Florence, Rome was a major centre of
the Renaissance. As a result some of the best Renaissance
architecture and enormous majestic squares can be
found in the city: Michelangelo’s Piazza
del Campidoglio, Palazzo Venezia, Palazzo Bernini,
Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Campo de’Fiori
and Piazza Venezia.

How to Get There
Both Ciampino and Fiumicino airports are well connected
to Stazione Termini. Travellers can choose from various
coaches that run between Ciampino and Termini. If
arriving at Fiumicino gets must take the train to
Termini which is a 40 minute journey.
From Stazione Termini, the main train station, the
Hotel Castelfidardo is a short 10
minute stroll on foot. Exit Termini on to Via Marsala
and turn left. Continue walking along Via Marsala
until you reach Viale Enrico de Nicola on your right.
The Automobile Club Italia (Italian Motor Club) building
is on the corner and there is a bus lane. Walk past
the Automobile Club Italia building and cross Piazza
Indipendenza. When you reach the opposite side of
the piazza turn left into Via Castelfidardo. Hotel
Castelfidardo is located at number 31.
